Before choosing a fishing charter, you should consider four things that can make or break your trip: the size, quality, and condition of the boats, the experience and local knowledge of the captains and crew, Google reviews, and most importantly, recent catches. Check the charter’s social media to see what they’re actually catching right now—not what they caught years ago. If there are no good pictures or descriptions of the boat you’ll be fishing on, there’s a reason.

Trips depart from the marina behind Mulligan’s Beach House in Sebastian, Florida. Most offshore trips begin approximately 20 miles from shore and venture farther depending on the trip length, target species, and conditions.
